# Loox

> Connect Loox with Quizify to display product ratings, review counts, and photo review badges directly on recommended product cards, helping shoppers make confident purchase decisions.

## Overview

Displaying trusted customer reviews from Loox helps build shopper confidence right at the recommendation stage, boosting add-to-cart rates and final checkout conversions.

Quizify automatically syncs rating scores and review counts from Loox for recommended items and displays the star rating widget beneath each product title on the Result page.

## Before You Start

* Ensure **Loox - Product Reviews App** is installed and enabled in your Shopify store.
* Products recommended in your quiz should have approved reviews in Loox.
* Your Quizify plan must be **Starter Plan** or higher.
* A User Form / Email is not required because Quizify only fetches product review metadata.

## Navigation

1. Go to **Shopify Admin → Apps → Quizify**.
2. Open your quiz from **Dashboard** or **My Quizzes** (click **Edit** or create a new quiz).
3. In the Quiz Builder, click **Integration** in the left navigation menu.
4. Select the **Reviews** category.

## How to Connect Loox

### Step 1: Select Loox Card

In the Integration catalog under **Reviews**, click on the **Loox** card.

### Step 2: Click Connect

In the configuration panel, click the **Connect** button. Quizify will link with your store's active Loox installation.

### Step 3: Configure Display Options

Configure review visibility on your recommendation cards:

| Setting                  | Description                                      | Recommended |
| :----------------------- | :----------------------------------------------- | :---------- |
| **Show Star Rating**     | Displays aggregate star rating (e.g. 4.9 ★)      | Enabled     |
| **Show Review Count**    | Displays total number of reviews (e.g. "(124)")  | Enabled     |
| **Hide if Zero Reviews** | Hides the widget if a product has no reviews yet | Enabled     |

### Step 4: Save & Publish

Click **Save** in the top-right header of the Quiz Builder. Publish your quiz to view the Loox stars live on your storefront.

## Troubleshooting

    1. Confirm that Loox is enabled under Shopify **Themes → Customize → App Embeds**.
    2. Check that the recommended product actually has published reviews in your Loox admin.
    3. Ensure you clicked **Save** and **Publish** in the Quiz Builder after connecting Loox.

    Loox caches review totals periodically. Allow 5–10 minutes after approving new reviews in Loox for Quizify to reflect updated scores.
