Use the Quiz Builder to create an engaging quiz experience that helps you understand your customers and provide personalized recommendations.

Open the Quiz Builder

You can open the Quiz Builder when creating a new quiz or editing an existing quiz.
Create a new quiz

Follow these steps to create a new quiz and open it in the Quiz Builder.

  1. Open Shopify Admin → Apps → Quizify.
  2. Go to My Quizzes.
  3. Click Create quiz, enter a name, and select a creation option.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Your new quiz will open in the Quiz Builder.
Edit an existing quiz

Follow these steps to open an existing quiz in the Quiz Builder.

  1. Open Shopify Admin → Apps → Quizify.
  2. Go to My Quizzes.
  3. Find your quiz and click Edit.
  4. The quiz will open in the Quiz Builder.
When you close the Quiz Builder, you return to Dashboard or My Quizzes, depending on where you opened it from.

Quiz Builder overview

The Quiz Builder interface is divided into different areas to help you build and customize your quiz easily.
AreaDescription
Top barShows the quiz title, status, preview options, and publish/embed controls.
Left navigationAccess different builder sections such as Quiz, Recommendation, Logic Jump, Integration, Language, Design, and Publish.
Live previewDisplays a real-time preview of your quiz as you build and make changes.
Settings panelConfigure the settings for the selected element (question, design, recommendation, etc.).
Save controlsPreview your quiz or get the embed code to publish it on your store.

Top bar

The top bar gives you quick access to important controls and information.
ElementDescription
Quiz titleDisplays the name of your quiz. You can change it from here.
StatusShows the current status of the quiz (Draft or Published).
Device previewSwitch between desktop and mobile view in the preview.
PreviewPreview your quiz before publishing.
Embed QuizGet the embed code to add the quiz to your store (requires publishing).
