Submissions

From this page you can:

• Select a particular quiz to view its responses
• Filter submissions by date range
• Search and sort responses
• Review answers in a structured table
• Export submissions or leads

How to Open Submission

You can open submissions for a quiz in two ways:

By clicking on the left menu

1. Go to Shopify Admin → Apps → Quizify.
2. Click Submission in the left menu.
3. Select the quiz whose submissions you want to view, and the time duration.

Through Quiz Library

1. Go to Shopify Admin → Apps → Quizify.
2. Open the quiz library from the Home dashboard or My Quizzes.
3. Click the ⋯ next to the quiz whose submissions you want to view.
4. This will open a submission tab for that particular quiz.

Page Overview

When you open Submission, you will see:

• Page title — Submission
• Page description — Select a quiz below to view its customer responses
• Export — Top-right menu to export submissions or leads
• Quiz dropdown — Choose which quiz’s responses to view
• Date range — Filter by period or custom dates
• Search — Search submissions for the selected quiz
• Sort ⇅ — Sort by date ascending or descending
• Submission table — Responses grouped by date
• Pagination — Move between pages of results

How to Select a Quiz

On the top of the page, use the quiz dropdown (placeholder: Select a quiz).

1. Click the dropdown. It will show all your created quizzes.
2. Choose the quiz whose submissions you want to view.
3. The table updates to show responses for that quiz only.

Note:-

• You must select a quiz to view submissions, search, apply date filters, or export.

How to Select a Date

Filter submissions using predefined or custom date ranges.

Available Options

• Today
• Yesterday
• Last 7 days
• Last 30 days
• Last 90 days
• Last 365 days
• Last Month
• Last Year
• All Time

You can also pick a custom range in the calendar.

Submission Table

Once a quiz is selected, Quizify displays a table of user-submitted responses for the selected date range.

• Columns represent questions and fields configured in your quiz
• Each row is one user’s response
• Rows are grouped by date (for example, Submissions on Aug 04, 2024)
• Empty values usually show as -

What Columns You May See for the selected quiz

Available columns depend on the question types and fields configured in your quiz.

Personal Information

• First name
• Last name
• Email
• Phone

Question Responses

Columns can include answers for question types such as:

• Single Choice
• Multiple Choice
• Range Slider
• Text Field
• Long Text
• Feedback
• Rating
• Date Field
• File Upload

Address Information

If your quiz collects address fields, columns may include:

• Address Line 1
• Address Line 2
• City
• State / Province
• Postal Code
• Country

Additional Data

• Marketing consent (for example, newsletter / exclusive offers)
• Disclaimer
• Answer Tags
• Result Link
• Score (for Score recommendation quizzes)
• Type (for Personality Type recommendation quizzes)

Note:-

• Score and Type columns appear when those recommendation modes and outcomes apply to the quiz.

How to Search Submissions

Use the search bar (Search submissions…) to find responses for the currently selected quiz.

1. Select a quiz.
2. Type your search text.
3. Review the filtered results in the table.

How to Sort Responses

Click the ⇅ sort control to sort responses by date.

Sort	Order
↑	Older First
↓	Newest First

This will sort the quiz responses according to your selection.

How to Export Submissions

Use the Export button in the top right to download data for the selected quiz and date range.

Option	What it exports
Export Submissions	Full submission / response data
Export Leads	Lead / contact-focused data

Submission: A submission is recorded whenever a customer completes and submits the quiz. It contains the answers and information provided during that quiz attempt. Lead: A lead is a customer/contact whose information, such as an email address, has been collected through the quiz and can be used for follow-up or integrations. Every lead is unique. If a user submits the quiz again with a different response but the same email, that lead will be updated with the latest quiz submission. Every lead can come from a submission, but not every submission necessarily becomes a lead—for example, if the quiz doesn’t collect contact information.

Pagination

If you have many submissions:

1. Use the left and right arrows at the bottom of the table.
2. Move between pages of results.

Review submissions for one quiz

1. Open Submission.
2. Select a quiz from the dropdown.
3. Set the date range (for example Last 30 days or All Time).
4. Click Apply.
5. Scroll the table to review personal fields, answers, tags, score, or type.
6. Optional: search or sort.
7. Optional: click Export → Export Submissions or Export Leads.

Note:-

• Columns change based on your quiz questions, User Form fields, and recommendation type.
• You can also open submissions for a specific quiz from My Quizzes actions when available.
