Add a Page

Click Add Page, then choose one of the following options:

Option	Description
Question	Adds a new quiz question where respondents can select or enter an answer.
Content Slide	Adds an informational slide to display text, images, or other content without requiring a response from the user.
User Form	Adds a lead capture form to collect customer information such as name, email address, phone number, and other details.

Note: You can add only one User Form per quiz.

Question Types

When you add a Question, open Settings and choose a Question Type. Quizify includes 12 question types:

Note: Some question types, such as File Upload, may depend on your plan.

How Question Settings Work

1. Select a question in the Builder list.
2. Use the right-panel Settings tab for content and behavior.
3. Use the Design tab using the paintbrush icon for fonts, colors, and field styling.
4. Watch the center preview update as you edit.

Setting	What It Does
Question Type	Changes the kind of question and updates the preview.
Question Required	When enabled, the question cannot be skipped.

Drag, Delete, or Duplicate a Question

You can change the order of questions in the Builder list or remove a question you no longer need. To reorder a question

1. Hover over the question in the Builder list.
2. Use the drag handle that appears.
3. Drag the question up or down to the desired position.

To delete a question

1. Hover over the question in the Builder list.
2. Click the delete icon.
3. Confirm if prompted.

To duplicate a question

1. Hover over the question in the Builder list.
2. Click Duplicate.
3. It will create the same question below that question, and you can use that question as a normal question.

Insert Answers from Previous Questions (@)

You can personalize later questions by inserting an answer from an earlier question. In the Question title or Question description field, type @ to insert answers from previous questions (for example, {{Q1-value:6F5BC0}}). When a user answers the earlier question, Quizify replaces that shortcode with their real answer on the next screens. Example

1. Question 1 asks for the user’s name (for example, a Name or Text field question).
2. In Question 2, type @ in the Question title and choose the name question.
3. A shortcode such as {{Q1-value:6F5BC0}} is inserted.
4. On the live quiz, if the user entered Priya, the next question can appear like: Priya, what brings you here?

How to use it

1. Open a question after the first one in the Quiz Builder.
2. Click inside Question title or Question description.
3. Type @.
4. Choose the previous question whose answer you want to insert.
5. Save the quiz.

Notes

• The inserted value looks like {{Q1-value:6F5BC0}} in the editor.
• On the storefront, users see the real answer text, not the shortcode.
• Use this for names, preferences, or any earlier answer you want to repeat later.

Question Types and Content and Design Settings

Single Selection and Multiple Selection

Single Selection and Multiple Selection use the same interface.

• Single Selection — customers choose one answer.
• Multiple Selection — customers can choose more than one answer.

Center Preview: The preview shows the question exactly as quiz takers will see it:

• Question title as a heading
• Subtext for selection mode, such as (Select one option)
• Answers as cards in a grid, or all answers in a dropdown when Show as Dropdown is enabled

These are the common content settings available in all question types:

Answer Settings

Answer settings are available only for Single Selection and Multiple Selection. Answer Layout: Click on an answer to see these options:

1 Column	Shows answers in one vertical column.
2 Columns	Shows answers in two columns.
3 Columns	Shows answers in three columns.
4 Columns	Shows answers in four columns.

Option-Wise Settings

Click each answer option to edit it. To reorder an answer option

1. Hover over the answer option in the Builder list.
2. Use the drag handle that appears.
3. Drag the option up or down to change its order.

Range Slider

Center Preview Shows the question title and a horizontal slider between your start and end values, such as 0 to 20. Extra content settings

These three types share similar content and Design settings. The preview changes according to the input size and purpose. Center Preview

Number

Center Preview: Shows the question title and a number input with hint text. Extra content settings

Set Minimum Value	Optional. Lowest number allowed, for example 1.

Date Field

Center Preview: Shows the question title and a date input with the placeholder mm/dd/yyyy and a calendar icon. Date picker type

• End date must be the same as or later than the start date.
• Invalid or incomplete dates are not accepted.

Rating

Center Preview: Shows the question title and a row of rating icons. The default example uses five stars. Rating icon type

Star, Heart, Thumbs Up, Smiley, Fire, Trophy	Choose one icon type at a time. Changing the icon updates the look without changing rating values.

Address

Center Preview: Shows the question title and address fields such as:

• Address Line 1
• Address Line 2
• City and State
• Pincode and Country

Address field settings appear under Form fields. The subtitle is Customize labels shown to respondents. Each address field has these controls:

Control	What it does
Label box	Customize the field name shown to customers. Maximum 40 characters. A counter such as 14/40 appears in the box.
Eye icon	Show or hide the field. Hidden fields are not shown in the quiz.
Required checkbox	If checked, the customer must fill in that field before continuing.

These controls apply to every address field:

• City
• State / Province

Notes

• Hidden fields are not shown to users.
• Required fields must be completed before submitting.
• Labels can be renamed to match your store language.
