Overview

Connect Google Analytics with Quizify to automatically track quiz events, user interactions, and completions. Gain valuable insights into engagement and conversions to optimize your funnels and improve campaign performance.

Before You Start

  • You need a Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID (starts with G-).
  • No User Form or lead email is required for analytics tracking.
  • Growth Plan or higher in Quizify.
  1. Go to Shopify Admin → Apps → Quizify.
  2. Open your quiz from Dashboard or My Quizzes.
  3. In the Quiz Builder, click Integration in the left navigation menu.
  4. Select Tracking & Analytics and click Google Analytics.

How to Connect Google Analytics

Step 1: Find GA4 Measurement ID

  1. In Google Analytics, navigate to Admin → Data Streams.
  2. Select your Web data stream and copy the Measurement ID (e.g. G-XXXXXXXXXX).

Step 2: Paste ID in Quizify

  1. In Quizify, click Google Analytics.
  2. Enter your Measurement ID.
  3. Click Connect.

Step 3: Save & Test

Click Save in the Quiz Builder. Open your store’s live quiz in another tab, then check the GA4 Realtime report to see incoming quiz events.

Troubleshooting

GA4 realtime updates can take 30–60 seconds. Ensure the measurement ID begins with G- and your browser ad-blocker is turned off.
