Navigation

1. Go to Shopify Admin → Apps → Quizify.
2. Open a quiz from Dashboard or My Quizzes (click Edit or create a new quiz).
3. In the Quiz Builder, click Integration in the left icon menu.
4. Choose Shopify (or leave All selected).

Shopify Customers

Create or update Shopify customers from User Form details. Available on the Pro Plan.

How to Connect

1. Open Integration → Shopify.
2. Connect the integration.
3. Make sure your quiz has a User Form with first name, last name, and email all visible (turned on).

Note:-

• First name, last name, and email are all required for data sync.
• If even one of these fields is disabled in the User Form, the user’s data will not be synced to Shopify.
• The user must provide all three details for the data to be synced successfully.

Data Sync Scenarios

Scenario 1

First name, last name, and email — if any one of these three is off (hidden) in the User Form, data does not sync to Shopify. Why it will not sync data? Since the last name field is off it will not sync data.

Scenario 2

First name, last name, and email are all on, but they are not required. Data may or may not sync — it syncs only if the shopper fills in all three; if they leave any empty, it does not sync. Why it may or may not sync data? Since all fields are enabled in the User Form but the data will sync to Shopify only if the user provides all three details. If the user leaves even any one of these fields blank, the data will not be synced.

Scenario 3

First name, last name, and email are all on and required. The shopper must fill all three, so data will sync to Shopify. Why it will always sync data? The data will always sync because all three fields are required. Since the fields are mandatory, users cannot proceed from the User Form without providing all the required details.

What Data Is Sent

Quizify writes these fields to Shopify customers after a successful live quiz submission:

Shopify field	Source	Always written?
Email	User Form email	Yes (required). Also the match key for create vs update.
First name	User Form firstName	Yes (required).
Last name	User Form lastName	Yes (required).
Answer Tag	Quizify and Selected answer response tag	Yes.
Email marketing	User Form newsletter checkbox (emailConfirmation / newsletter)	Only if checked. Then Shopify is set to Subscribed, single opt-in, with consentUpdatedAt. If unchecked, Quizify does not set Unsubscribed; Shopify stays at its default Not subscribed.

• Email, first name, and last name are all required for the customer sync.
• Email is used to find an existing Shopify customer or create a new one.
